In the centre of the chest resides an energy centre known as the Heart Chakra which is also known as the Anahata in Sanskrit. This ball of green and pink coloured light helps with the concepts of loving others, loving the self, and acting with compassion towards others.
When feelings of love for other comes into play, this energy centre hums with a gentle vibration that stirs a feeling of warmth and kindness towards others. The same is said for self-love with this energy being directed inwards and enhanced with desires to act in a way that brings about a sense of joy and happiness. When compassion is needed, the Heart Chakra opens and pours energy outwards as a way of helping another person heal through emotional support.
